Did you know? MCMC offers pediatric/well-child visits in the Murray County Clinic!
Yearly well-child visits offer many benefits, such as:
Keeping up to date on scheduled immunizations
Growth and development tracking and the opportunity to talk with your provider about your child's social behaviors and learning outcomes, as well
Development of optimal physical, mental, and social health for the child, due to a team-based approach to care among the primary care provider, parent, and child
A chance to voice concerns and/or questions regarding your child's development, behavior, sleeping, eating, etc.
Beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 6th, 2022, children ages 0-5 or 9-16 years old who receive routine care at the Murray County Clinic will be able to participate in Sanford's PLEDGE screening study testing for antibodies related to type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. Talk to your MCMC provider or learn more about the study.
In addition to pediatric/well-child visits, new parents may benefit from the services of MCMC's board-certified lactation consultant - who is available for consult with Murray County Clinic visits.
